One rate per credit hour. No technology fee, no course material fee, no application fee. You pay for the credits you actually take, term by term.
Rates
Tuition is charged per credit hour and billed by term. A standard term is two courses, or six credit hours. Rates below are effective for all terms beginning in 2026 and 2027, and are locked for the length of your program once you enroll.

Paying for it
Whichever you use, you will know the full cost of your remaining program in writing before you enroll. We do not bill for a term you did not register for, and we do not roll unpaid balances into the next term without telling you.
The most common choice. Each term is split into two equal monthly payments with no interest and no financing fee. An undergraduate taking two courses pays $750 a month while enrolled. An MBA student pays $1,275.
Pay the whole term before the first day of class and receive a five percent discount on that term's tuition. Applied automatically, no code needed.
We invoice your employer directly per term and send whatever grade documentation their program requires. If your employer reimburses you after the fact instead, we can hold your balance until the reimbursement clears. Ask an advisor for the employer billing packet.
Active duty service members, veterans, and spouses receive a ten percent tuition reduction on every term. Contact an advisor before you enroll so it is applied from the first bill rather than credited later.
What is not on the bill
Most of what inflates the cost of an online degree is not tuition. It is everything bolted onto it. Here is what NextGen does not add.

Textbooks and course materials are open educational resources or licensed by the university and included in tuition. In the few courses that require a commercial text, the cost is listed on the syllabus before the term begins and is typically under $80.
Money questions
No. NextGen Online University does not participate in federal Title IV student aid programs. There are no federal grants or federal student loans through the university and we do not process the FAFSA. Tuition is paid directly by the student or by a sponsoring employer.
We say this plainly because it should factor into your decision. What we offer instead is a lower published rate, no fees stacked on top of it, and an interest free monthly plan on every term.
Not for you. The per credit rate in effect when you sign your enrollment agreement is locked for the duration of your program, as long as you do not sit out more than two consecutive terms.
Tuition is refunded on a pro rata basis: 75 percent through the end of week one, 50 percent through week two, 25 percent through week four, and none after week four. If you cancel within five business days of signing your enrollment agreement, everything you paid is refunded in full. Refunds are issued within 30 days.
Yes, official transcripts and diplomas are held while a balance is outstanding. Degree and enrollment verifications are not. If an employer needs to confirm your credential, the registrar will do that regardless of your account status.
Yes. Billing is per term and you register term by term. You are never obligated to a future term you have not registered for, and sitting out a term costs nothing.
