Who this is for
The people in our MBA are usually four to fifteen years into a career. They were good at the technical part of the job, so they were handed a team, a budget, and a set of numbers they are now expected to explain to someone above them.
This program fills those gaps in the order they tend to hurt: reading financial statements, building a forecast you can defend, pricing, deciding what to stop doing, running a difficult conversation, and writing a strategy that survives contact with the people who have to execute it.
Curriculum
Each course is three semester hours over eight weeks. Take two at a time and you finish in eighteen months. Take one and you finish in three years. Both are normal here.

The capstone is a written strategic recommendation on a live decision at an organization you choose, defended in a recorded presentation to two faculty reviewers.
Admission requirements
Decisions are usually issued within five business days of a complete file. Applicants who fall just short of the grade point average requirement may be admitted on academic probation for the first two terms.
From an institution that was licensed or accredited at the time you attended. Official transcripts are sent directly to our registrar. Degrees earned outside the United States require a course-by-course evaluation from a recognized credential evaluation service.
Either one satisfies the requirement. Experience is counted from the point you held responsibility for results, a budget, or people.
One or two pages. We use it to place you in the right capstone track and to decide whether the bridge courses apply.
About 500 words on the decision or problem in your current work that you want this degree to help you handle. The best ones are specific and unflattering.
Common questions
Up to 9 semester hours, which is three courses. The work must be graduate level, completed within the last seven years with a grade of B or better, and cover material equivalent to one of our core courses. Send the transcript and the course syllabus and the registrar will decide before you enroll.
Two courses at a time run about fifteen hours a week. One course runs about eight. Reading and case preparation are the bulk of it, and there is a written deliverable in nearly every course every week.
No. The capstone replaces it. You produce a strategic recommendation for a real organization and defend it in a recorded presentation. It is graded on the quality of the reasoning and the evidence, not on length.
That decision always belongs to the receiving organization. NextGen Online University is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education, and our degrees are conferred under that license. If acceptance by a specific employer, licensing board, or doctoral program matters to you, confirm it with them in writing before you enroll. Our registrar will send them anything they need to make that determination.
Yes, and it is common. We invoice employers directly on a per term basis and send the grade documentation most tuition assistance programs require. Ask an advisor for the employer billing packet.
No. The university does not participate in federal Title IV programs, so there are no federal grants or federal student loans through NextGen. Tuition is paid by the student or a sponsoring employer, and interest free monthly payment plans are available for every term.
