Six terms a year, rolling review, and a written credit evaluation before you owe anything. Applications close ten days before classes begin.
Academic calendar
Terms are eight weeks. The application deadline is the last day we can accept a file and still have time to evaluate transcripts, confirm your payment plan, and get your course materials to you before the first Monday.
Missed a deadline by a day or two? Call us. If your file is otherwise complete we can often still seat you.

The university observes a two week recess between the Fall II and Winter I terms. No classes are held December 21 through January 3.
The process
Nothing is charged until you accept a seat in a specific term. The credit evaluation, the advisor call, and the admission decision all happen before any money changes hands.
Ten minutes. Name, contact information, the program you want, and where you went to school before. There is no application fee.
Request official transcripts from every institution you attended and have them sent to our registrar at registrar@nextgen-university.com or to our Orlando address. If you are unsure where to start, an advisor will walk you through it on the phone.
Usually within five business days of receiving your transcripts. It lists every course accepted, the credits awarded, the courses remaining, and the total tuition for what is left. Free, and yours to keep whether or not you enroll.
A twenty minute call to set your pace, one course a term or two, choose a start date, and set up a payment plan. This is also where employer tuition assistance gets arranged if you have it.
You sign the enrollment agreement, your first term is registered, and course access opens the Friday before classes begin.
Transfer credit
We accept up to 90 semester hours toward the bachelor's degree and up to 9 toward the MBA. Credit is awarded for coursework completed at an institution that was licensed or accredited at the time you attended, in a subject that maps to something in our curriculum.

Application
There is no application fee and nothing is charged when you submit. An admissions advisor will confirm receipt within one business day and tell you exactly which documents are still outstanding.
Policies you should read first
You may cancel your enrollment agreement within five business days of signing and receive a full refund of everything paid. After a term begins, tuition is refunded on a pro rata basis through the fourth week: 75 percent through week one, 50 percent through week two, 25 percent through week four, and none after that. Refunds are issued within 30 days of the withdrawal date.
Undergraduates must keep a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 and complete at least two thirds of the credits they attempt. Graduate students must keep a 3.0. Falling below either puts you on academic probation for two terms, with a required advisor check in every three weeks, before dismissal is considered.
Attendance is measured by academic activity, not by logging in. Submitting an assignment, posting to a graded discussion, or taking an assessment counts. Fourteen consecutive days without academic activity results in an administrative withdrawal from the course.
Complaints should first be raised with your academic advisor, then in writing to the Office of the Registrar in Orlando. NextGen Online University does not participate in federal Title IV student aid programs. There are no federal grants or federal student loans available through the university, and we do not process the FAFSA. Tuition is paid directly by the student or by a sponsoring employer, and interest free monthly payment plans are available for every term.
